The windows themselves are great. I have no complaints with the product itself and am happy with what I received.

While the product itself was great, the process of getting them installed from day 1 to day 101 (yes that is how long it took) was painful the entire way. From complete lack of communication for 2 straight months from Andersen, to a one day project turning into a three project, to nicks, cuts, smudges, mismatched paint, trash and nail (yes, screws and nails which my 9 month pregnant wife discovered after stepping on one barefoot in the kitchen after they were "done"), their work product was abysmal. I would never in a million years recommend Renewal by Andersen to anyone and I feel like they cheated me and stole my hard earned money.
I paid 5 figures for 5 windows and a slider door. For that amount of money and with a national company, I expect the utmost perfection in service. What I received was worse than what I'd expect from a one man contractor. For half of the price I paid I could have bought high quality windows myself, found a local contractor and had him install them. I chose not to because of all the horror stories I had heard about local, small companies. Instead, a national company turned into a horror story for me. My recommendation? Do not waste your money on Renewal by Andersen. Find an accredited contractor, buy high quality windows on your own and have them install for you. Stay away from Renewal by Andersen.
