Newly installed Andersen 100 series casement. These are fairly large windows (2). Height 59", total width both windows together 66". Fibrex material. Insulating qualities good. 26 F out side, window frame feels gently cool to the touch. Insulating qualities very good. Window seal very good. No air flow. Locking mechanism ok, but lock lever is too small and in my judgement should be larger and stronger. Has a cheap feel about it. Bezel around locking handle initially popped out when the handle was used. This problem was solved by removing the bezel and cleaning the area where the bezel snapped to the window with QTips. Sawdust internal to the window was interfering with the snapping of the bezel into place. This is a new window, and the locking mechanism is stiff, I am going to lubricate with dry lubricant. My initial impression is that this window is better than that which it replaced (wood clad with aluminum by Lincoln). The actual test will be how it holds up over time.
