Never had the windows installed from this company because of high pressured sales rep that came to house. Ok, the sales rep did his "dog and pony" show. But other people are correct about the high pressured sales pitch.
Price Information
The sales rep. wanted to offer you a "coupon" for an instant savings on the windows. There were a total of 10 windows to replace, but with the coupon it would be $6700 for all windows. That is extremely expensive and overpriced for this area. But if the sales rep. left then the price of the windows would go up to $9300. Even after I told the sales rep, I would not be making a decision today. Now talk about inflation and we all thought the economy was bad. This company is horrible and overpriced compared to our companies in the area. Just avoid this company at all cost, since not worth the money.

I understood any problems with these windows were under a 100% warranty and if I had a problem with a window it would be replaced. Now a couple years out when the locking mechanism doesn't work, I find out I must pay a $75 fee to have someone come out and fix it for free! Somehow that just doesn't seem free to me.

price was not the lowest quote I received, but I thought I was getting a good company and warranty.

We had them fill in our garage door opening with windows and a single door. They sent the wrong door, then replaced it with the wrong one. The lock broke within the 1st two years. The wood they used around the windows outside, rotted about 5 years after installation. I'm wondering if it's termites. None of the other wood around our home has rotted like this. The kickplate, is total crap. I called, and they wanted me to bring them the door. Will NEVER use them again.

Had 1/2 of my windows replaced in 2006. The windows are very nice quality, but expensive, which is why I could only afford to have half of them replaced.

Champion installer. Messy, late, dropped cig butts. Did a lousy job of installing and caulking. Had to have several re-caulks to fix leaking from above.Never installer's fault---per him.

very lousy on everything they did! Never again will I use this company because we got our windows last week and they already flooded our kitchen and living room!! Cigarette butts are everywhere, and very poor clean up....

Had all the windows replaced in 2009. Haven't noticed a decrease in energy consumption. They look good, but the sash operator doesn't allow the window to open fully (design flaw).

Very Professional Installation. They came when they said they would. Did a great job, caulking was outstanding, and they cleaned up very well.
Price Information
Final pricing was on the high side compared to other bids. The warranty is very good. I had some latch problems. They came out and fixed the problem - no charge. A rock hit the rear slider and broke the glass. They came out right away, replaced the slider glass, no hassles, no questions, no charge.

These windows are overpriced,poorly constructed,difficult to open and close. The installation was very poor and a lot of dammage was done. They have major leaks and let a lot of cold air in. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are a waste of money. I am so sorry that I got them.

SATISFACTORY BUT JUST BARELY. ACCORDING TO THE SURVEY THAT IS GIVEN TO YOU TO COMPLETE THEY ARE SUPPOSSED TO CLEAN THE WINDOWS UPON INSTALLATION--DIDN'T HAPPEN THEY EXPECT PAYMENT BUT DO NOT FURNISH A RECEIPT FOR PAYMENT OR A PAID IN FULL CONTRACT. THEY ALSO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT A FINAL LIEN WAIVER & THEREFORE DO NOT FURNISH ONE AT TIME OF PAYMENT.IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN A DIFFERENT CONTRACTOR.

THE FINAL PRICE WAS THE SAME AS QUOTED HOWEVER THE REST OF THE PROCESS LEAVES A GREAT DEAL TO BE DESIRED.

I did not purchase these but they are already installed on the house I bought. The seals are all blown (They are 8 years old). When replacing sashes I have had lousy customer service and am not happy with the quality. Would not recommend or ever use this company again. It is ridiculous to have to replace sashes all the time.

As a former salesman for this company, I can confirm that the goal is to sell you on energy efficiency and mostly, the warranty. The product does rate very well, but you will be presented with a ridiculous price and then be offered a 'huge discount' for providing a newspaper coupon. (Like a newspaper coupon will cut thousands of dollars off of a purchase). The goal is to build value and then take advantage of trusting consumers. Please understand the first price quoted is exactly double what Champion will accept as a profitable sale. They will go lower if you play hardball. I will deffend the quality of the window, but I won't defend the rues and trickery used by the sales method. Please do your research and don't waste your time with the '90 minute' consultation. Good luck consumers!

The window is ok. I was hoping to save on energy cost. This would be hard to do with any window that is too small for the window frame. The foam job to close up the gaps was extreamly lacking and the only protection from weather was the exterier window trim. Someone here needs to just make some calls and say there is a problem, not invent cheap fixes to get through the job. Wake up america. Quit putting yourself out of work.

They came on time. Cleaned up well. Had 16 windows replaced and one sliding patio door. Had a minor issue with one window lock which they took care of in short order. After about a year the stationary sliding door lost it's seal. They replaced it in short order. About a year later there was an issue with the lock and the sliding door that was intermittent. The came and looked at it and replaced the entire mechanism no questions asked. I would buy them again. Never had a major issue since in the last 10 years.

Had all the windows in my house replaced by champion, energy bill has not gone down. Did the smoke test and air is coming in from around the windows. Took eight months to get a replacement screen. Don't know if I should waste my time calling them about the air problem.

Scratched some of the window sills. Stood in bathtub with shoes on, no protection on tub floor, scratched it. Broke the grout line along the tiles in bathroom window and did not fill the gap they created.

Over priced, high pressure sales. The sales started with an extremely high price of about 1300 per window and then said he had a coupon for 40% off and the took some more money of when I keep saying they were to not worth the money. The price I paid was less than half the original price the salesman showed me. Service has been terrible. I have had two outstanding problems for over 6 months and all I get is excuses.

Couldn't believe the difference. The windows have lowered my utility usage by about 40%, the A/C never seems to run anymore. They look great, too. And neighbors have complimented the fact that they look just like new wood windows.

Installers arrived at 9 a.m. as scheduled, had installed our 34 double hung windows by 5:30 p.m.

Their estimate was the third of four. Compared to the first two bids, they were a little bit more but we could tell that there was a different level of professionalism in the sales visit. The final bid from the other company we had out was twice as much as the Champion estimate... it was a no-brainer.

Replaced 5 large aluminum windows. I love that both sides of the window open, the superior locking system and the "partial open locking" feature. They were the most expensive bid but great quality. Our utility bills haven't decreased but the sound is cut down A Lot!
