As installed, they didn't open as far as I liked. I was able to shorten the stops slightly to open them another inch or so (depending on size) without interfering with any mounting screws or adjustment hardware.

The company uses very high pressure sales techniques and did not communicate well unless they needed something from us. The installers themselves seemed to be in a big hurry and took shortcuts on the final trim work.

The Schuco windows I purchased were amazing. The PAL Lock is an automatic lock feature I love and the steel lift handles are so much nicer than the plastic ones I saw from other dealers

My windows were installed by Murphy's Window and Sunooms and I couldn't be more satisfied. I dealt with the owner of the business and he attended the final measure. He went so far as to come to my install and confer with the master carpenter and bring lunch for his guys! The crew wore booties on their feet and layed tarps in the working areas. They even washed the glass when they were done and walked around the house with me to make sure I was happy with the cleanup.
Price Information
My windows weren;t cheap. They were about $7250 for 10 double hungs. Definitely more than most but I got what I paid for.

Window Comments
Windows work very well. They are very solid. I did not notice as much nosie reduction as had been promised. The promises of reduced heating/air conditioning costs have not materialized but overall the windows are good products.

Installer was recommended by one of the board experts however failed to live up to expectations. Installation was done very poorly and the long distance between the installer and our home was an issue. Still do not feel windows were put in the best way but adequately to get by. Would recommend to others to get local installers and pay attention to the installer over the window. A lesser window installer properly will be a greater performer than a great window installed poorly. Also get someone you can trust because the overall experience is trying once you have problems.
Price Information
Price was very good. We got the triple pane version of Schuco's flapship for less money than much lesser brands that were being quoted to us. See previous comments about installer and consider that as you consider price. Good installation comes at a price and is worth it.
