I purchased my house when it was 12 years old. All but a couple of the JenWeld windows has failed. I replaced all casement windows, but my picture windows have all rotted and the glass has fallen into the bottom, even leaving gaps across the top. I have tried emailing JenWeld and the refuse to help.

16 windows in the house and 8 have MAJOR issues. All have cracked and split sashes, one has a broken crank component so the window isn't operable, 3 have locks that will not lock, one has a gap so wide I seal with duct tape in Winter, 4 have vapor leaks, the brackets broke on 1 on the second story leaving it hanging by one screw. I have had problems with the windows from occupancy on home only 8 years old. No help from builder, supplier, or manufacturer. Also several screens were ripped at time of install, was promised replacements that never came.

Installer came out once 8 years to fix some windows. He was an extremely miserable man, unhappy with his life and job, and also told me....just don't open the windows!
