I have replaced seven old Pella double hung and one casement window with Polar Seal vinyl and am very happy with the quality and performance. I was looking for a window with solid construction that would not leak in our Michigan Winters. They had several features that I could not find in the Pella and Anderson replacements. The Polar Seal have a double locking system, Pella and Anderson have a single lock. Polar Seal has a triple weather seal. Polar Seal uses a non metalic spacer between the glass which I liked. All of the windows qualify for the new federal tax credit.

Price Information
I paid about $375 for a 40 x 45 double hung which was more than windows from Lowes or Home Despot but I feel the quality and added features justified the extra cost.
