Had all windows replaced after tornado in 2011. Windows good for the price but nothing great. After 2 years a seal went bad on a sash. Called Vista and it was covered and replaced quickly. Now after 5 years, that replacement and 3 other sashes developed seal issues. Vista promptly issued WO numbers but no news since, I keep calling and they tell me customer orders have been placed on hold and that they'll call me back. It's been two 2 months now and have no idea when or if I'll get replacements.

Left my tornado damaged home in the middle of repair. Had to get another company to finish. This company has reoccurring legal problems. Stay away.

Seems to be a solid window. Operates easy and smooth, tilt in feature is great. Big difference compared to the old, original windows from 1945. They have triple pane and gas in between.

Efficient and steady workers. Replaced 12 double hung windows, spray foam insulation and nice, aluminum 'capping' on exterior trim in one day. Thorough cleanup, nice guys.
$6,000, well worth it.

I had the entire house replaced. Windows good for the price but nothing great. After 3 years a seal went bad on a picture window. Called Vista and it was covered, that's when the fun began. Another window has been made so I have been told and sitting in their warehouse, however it's not cost effective to send the window to me. I'll have to wait until someone buys windows in my area and they can put it on the truck! Really! Oh and they wont ship to you. I has to go to a "dealer" who wanted $350.00 to install the 1 window because it's not worth their time otherwise, again Really! 2 months later and have no idea when or if I'll get me window.

Great Company that was doing my remodel when windows put in. However they do not deal with Vista anymore so Mr. Roof is the local authorized dealer now.
Fair price for windows as long as nothing goes wrong.

Drafty and poor. Had ice on inside of window

Put no insulation between window frame and wall frame.
Good price but bad window. When we called the company about problems they said it was normal to get air in. You have to get a draft in the window to keep the heat in. When I said I have pictures of ice on the inside of the window they suddenly stopped the nonsense explanation. She then asked for the pics. Several days later still have not heard anything.

I don't know about other windows but my VISTA Panorama double hung windows work very well. We even broke one on accident and the guy got a replacement window for no cost through the warranty.

They did a good job installing. They were clean.
They were more expensive than the $199.00/window installed guys that came out to the house for an estimate, but they were less than the other quotes I got for Andersen and Power Windows

2 of the 3 large picture windows have several long scratches on the inside of glass and have to be replaced. Slider window frame is bowed and sash needs to be replaced. Double hung window has long scratch on inside glass and needs to be replaced. Right Handle on casement window damaged and was reordered correctly per installer but left handle was sent. Upper left bracket hinge (13 inch) on casement window broken and was ordered and they sent a (10 inch) hinge to replace....need to reorder. Installer explained that the Vista Window West division is having a lot of problems with quality and many complaints. Started the process of having my windows replaced early June and am now being told that it could take another 3 weeks before Vista West will have the replacement windows. Also, screen on double hung window does not fit properly and can only be used in the down position. Quality control seems to be non-existent at Vista Windows West. You would think that since they have all of the info on the order that they would be able to send the correct parts for replacement? Going on 3 months now since ordered?

Windows should be inspected before and after installation. They should never have been installed with the scratches.

My review is about VISTA windows quality. We had a large picture window 14'X6' replaced with solid 6'X6' and 2 casement side attachments 6'X3'. Also 2 6'X32" casements in another room. Have had nothing but problems with hinges. Had installer out 3 separate times to adjust and finally just gave up. Our thought is there is top hinge too weak to hold the weight when open. Screens for these windows bow in slightly in middle and leave small gap for bugs to get in. They have 4 spring clips but only 2 buttons, I am using tension curtain rod to push back and tighten. Just got around to do thorough cleaning and there is ripple in middle of solid window as well as scratches on exterior glass. Also have smears and foreign matter between double panes. We also have 2 42"X48" and 3 24"X48" casements that work a lot better. When high outdoors moisture and cool temps condensation builds on outside of all windows. Explanation for this is it's standard (?). Haven't replaced all windows and surely will not order VISTA for other windows.

We bought 3 large slider-type windows and one small double-hung type. The double-hung seems fine, but the sliders fit loosely in their frames and air blows through where the sections meet and at the bottom. They are far less energy-efficient than the old windows they replaced, which were not drafty.

They brushed off damage to the window edges as "normal damage due to transit." They did not fill the area between the frame and window with insulation, but tore off little bits of fiberglass insulation and poked them around the edges of the window.
The cost of 4 windows was $3,650.75, which seemed like a good price. We now realize that quality should have been a more important factor than price, since we are now spending more on utility bills than we would have been if we had purchased good windows.
