Several windows have failing seals after 11 years. Customer service is combative to deal with. I gave up trying to get them to comply with their so called 25 year warranty.

Price seemed average for mid grade vinyl replacements.

Installed in Aug 2006 Georgetown Series Vytex Casement and Awning Windows through Hallmark Windows. We have been very pleased overall and have saved a ton in utilities over our single paine windows. The cranks have given us some trouble (sticking) but they came and replaced a few without charge. Still not the smoothest but they work fine. Also 4 years later we have one that the seal is broken and they say they will replace free for $175 install fee. Not bad.

Wonderful and professional installers! They really did a great job, quick, clean and professional. We bought through Hallmark, but I thought the installers were from Vytex, I may be wrong. Very impressed.
36 windows total cost $14,576 avg $404 per window. Other Estimate from Thompson Creek was $49,564 with a 30% discount for 3 referrals (scam) so total after scam discount was $34,695. I'm pleased with my purchase.

purchased from something visions. very cheap. I see why now. The windows failed inside of 2 months. It took me nearly 4 month to get the company to replace. I called vytex and the wanted me to remove the window myself and bring it in to the factory. thats BS

The windows have been installed for only several weeks but I've been impressed with the sound deadening qualities. They haven't been installed long enough to notice any reduction in heating or cooling, but I do expect some minor reduction. The double-hungs work well, but I've been disappointed with the mechanics of the casements; clunky, not a smooth lock mechanism.

Slightly above average. The fit and over-all install of the windows was very good. The wrap job was less than good though in several aspects - some home details were ignored and rotten wood was removed and not replaced as promised.
The price was the lowest of 3 estimates, about $450 per window. With the low price and over-all good quality of the windows I am fairly happy.

Windows seem good-so much better than my 24 year old single panes with storms that I was happy with anything newer. I do notice quite a bit of condensation on the inside bottom of the windows in winter. Also, the casement windows facing west had condensation on the whole outside from about three inches in from frame when it was very hot and humid outside and cool inside. I thought that was strange but the company told me that had to do with the significant difference in temperature between outside and inside and was not a defect in the window.

The estimator was very nice, not pushy at all like some who come off as used car salesmen. The crew was very good-- professional, neat, and fast. They minimized disruption to the household. I was very pleased with their work.
I thought the pricing was very reasonable for this area (Northern Virginia)--not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive. The windows averaged about $500/window, which included everything.
