Window Comments
Did a full (17) replacement of casement windows and (7) sliding patio doors a year ago. Selected fiberglass with wood interior for durability and strength. Glass package was the newest ZO-E8 triple glaze (a full 1-3/8" thick) making these a very heavy window. In fact, the installer said these were the heaviest windows he has had to transport/handle. Ordered them unstained and had a subcontractor of the installer do the staining of interior wood. Exterior color is tan - limited factory color but FG is at least paintable whereas vinyl is not. Huge difference in comfort level of the whole house. No longer feel that draft next to a large patio door in our family room. Casement operating mechanism not quite as smooth as I'd like but good locking action.

Had installer do all above windows plus Hardie Plank siding. Gave us a good price and satisfied with the overall results.
Price Information
I have a relative who works for WeatherShield so got a very generous discount, allowing us to upgrade to the premium ZO-E8 glass.
