Even though I carry Gorell and definitely recommend it as a nice window, I have to tell you truthfully it doesn't even come close to Schuco 4000's. The fact is, I use a side by side demo with a Gorell 5300, a Reynolds 5000, and a Schuco 4000 in my everyday sales process, and every customer I have shown has come up with the same immediate conclusion....Schuco is the best they have seen, by far.
That doesn't diminish the fact that Gorell and others are still fine windows though. It's just that the features, and fit & finish are more impressive on the Schuco.
That said, the price of $5500 for 11 Gorell 5300 windows, 2 entrance doors and 2 storm doors is a very low price. He's not going to have much left for profit after installation, if anything.
If you have checked out the rest of his company real well, and the installations, and everything looks good, then I would have no problem recommending you give serious consideration to his bid. Good luck.
