Believe what you see, feel and varify. Invite dealers from Alside, Simonton and Schuco to your home for an estimate. Look for the following for starters:
- Overall beauty and operation.
- Personal and professional reputation.
- Warranty (the shorter the better... most are exclusions)Schuco: Lifetime, non-prorated, transferable.
- Performance specs: The Schuco casements have a U-.18 (heat transmission - lower the better), a DP-65 (design pressure- higher the better), Air infiltration .01- lower the better).
- Professionalism and reputation of the dealer presenting product.
I'd like to see posts for the Alside Ultramax and the Simonton Stormbreaker with their performance specs. Any dealers, please post.
