Certai Impervianteed vs Pella
Hi. I am in KC, Mo and am replacing a bank of windows that face east.We currently have glass levelored crank-outs with aluminum--very drafty. We have a heavily treed yard so the windows are well shaded in the summer and one tree is a large round pine that shades half of the space in the winter. the openings are approx 66X 55 for 2 openings and 99 X 55 for the middle. Due to the large spaces we are leaning toward a fiberglass window. We are looking at sliders. Pella has quoted $3,300. We have a quote form a private company that deals directly with the distributor and have a quote of 2,750 for a Certainteed fiberglass. He quoted a lifetime manufactors warranty and a 25 year labor warranty. Rolex was 5,500 for a triple-pane and ThermalKin 5,500 that came down to 3,500 if we booked that night--did not care for the hard sell. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks
