Hello, My wife and I purchased a 1930s house and we are interested in updating some of the windows due to the fact that some of the sashes are in rough shape. I am leaning towards a sash replacement. I am aware that you need to take extra care to make sure the windows are square and my sepfather is a contractor who is willing to help me measure and install.

I am looking to see if I can get any recent opinions on this option (I see alot of info on this forum regarding this however I can only find information from 2005 or 2006). I also was wondering if anyone has had these installed for a while and could give me some feedback.

I am currently considering the Marvin Tilt-PAC or the Jeldwin ZAP-Pac (open to any other suggestions as well).

Thank You for your help.
