The download article on replacement windows discusses a few points about installers warrantees. (thank you!) But what makes a good manufacturer's warranty, please?
I was surfing to find any reviews on the Burris TectView or Home Craftsman 8100 series windows I received quotes on and ran across some disconcerting information. (Not in this discussion board)

there is a window pro who frequents this board that is located in Texas.. he is highly respected in the industry and is just a great guy.. his board name is " Randy" .. i would recommend doing a search of his board name and click his contact button to see if he serves your area. i can tell you he uses great products and is one of the best installers i ever had the pleasure of meeting. at least with Randy you know you are getting quality across the board.
