i dont know if its a fair comparison to say another price in virginia was cheaper. For example, i do know northern virginia is much more expensive than other parts of virginia which means a business in northen VA will have much higher business costs.
Also, the OP never revealed the scope of their install which i would have to assume is very basic and might not even cover aluminum capping.
Bottom line, your quote may actually be very reasonable depending on where in VA you are located.

There are many factors that result in a specific quote.
General scope of work, options ( full screens, cottage, tempered glass, etc).
Any special aggrevating circumstances.
Total job size.
The contractors stability.
