I am hoping someone on here can help me. I am shopping around for replacement window and have a few quotes. I am looking to replace 16 windows in the Atlanta, GA area and want to know if I am getting good prices and what is the best window for the money. Here are the quote amounts so far:
Kensington Kingston 516 pea
Vytex 545 Dealer version of the Georgetown with foam and glass upgrade like the Fortis
Wincore 5400 546 ea
Alside Mezzo 417 ea
Okna 500 Insul-tec 612 ea
All have good installer reviews.
Any info will help
Thanks.

Re: Picking the best window for the money of my quotes
If the Vytex were the Fortis, it would be a contender. The Georgetown is not in the same class.
I would toss out the Wincore. Nothing special about that unit and its numbers are average.
I don't know that model of Kensignton so I will plead ignorance here.
If they can get you into that Vytex quote as the Fortis, my top two are that and the Okna. I think those would be your two best choices of what I know.

+1. The Fortis is very solid if you get it at a substantial discount. The Okna 500 is the best performer of the group and that price is fair, I suppose that would be my top choice.
