I live in the Chicago land area and got 2 quotes just for windows no install can someone help with which would be the best choice and do these prices seem fair. Also I know anderson offers more colors but we are doing white inside and out.
The measurements are as follows:
42 1/4 x 37
Patio Door is 73 x 801/2
73 1/2 x 75 1/2 Tempered window we'd like 1/4 1/2 1/4 window for that too
2 windows of 75 1/2 x 53 1/4 (we'd like a 1/4, 1/2, 1/4) window for that one
53 x 58
5 windows of 53 x 50 1/2
21 1/4 x 37 1/4
Prices
1. Simonton 5500 Reflections 8,760.38
2 Anderson 100 series 10,262.79
Thanks

I definitely know that Okna is in Chicago, IL and there is a longtime poster on this board by the name of Window4U.
You can click on his name and get connected to him. The Okna window is vastly superior to the Simonton 5500 and the 100 series. Better efficiency, air tightness, and construction quality.

Best to call/email Dave and get some numbers.
He tends to be very fair and competitive.

Ok if the Okna windows are out of my price range which would be better the Simonton 5500 reflections or the Anderson 100

Re: window choices
Pretty much depends on which window you like better at that point.
Both will serve your need just fine.

I'd recommend saving some more clams if you can't get a good product. You are spending thousands here, and on what is probably your largest investment. Not the place to go cheap.
