Hi all,
Getting new windows put in as I write this. Noticing that the new windows stick out about 3/4 inch past the trim. Is this normal? I don't see that on any of our neighbor's houses that have similar windows. We are replacing our old aluminum windows. They explained to me that it allows for better water drainage.

Can you post up some pictures?

Probably the screen track, a lot of higher quality Windows use thicker sashes therefore the screen track stick out further. Cheaper Windows may not stick out much at all.Evans2 wrote:Hi all,
