Okna - Central Indiana

#1 Post by MulligansValley »

I've talked to Okna and was told their Indianapolis dealer is Millenium Home. I can't get in contact with them after several tries and no return calls. Anyone know of installers in the area? Much appreciated.

Thanks! We had Joe out and liked him quite a bit. I wanted to make sure we don't overlook another quality installer in the area before making our final decision.

We have 8 aluminum windows (seven double hungs and a picture window) that date back to the 1950s that we are replacing. We have 12 other windows that are vinyl that we we are not yet replacing. Here's where we are right now for double pane, foam filled, low E with argon, all white, no grids:

American Window - Earthwise Eclipse: $3,550
Berkshire Elite with SuperSpacer: $4,033 (Lifetime labor warranty)
Alside Mezzo: $4,162
Okna 500: $4,860
Okna 600: $5,987

We're leaning Okna 500, but are weighing our options.

Can't go wrong with either of the Okna options, but the 500 is definitely a solid deal based on those numbers.

Appreciate your thoughts very much. We are currently thinking that while we'd love to step up to Okna 600/800, we might be be better off putting that additional investment towards more 500s down the road.

The first 3 are all entry level windows and as already stated the okna is the better of the group. The pricing seems fair when compared to the other 3. Although Mr. Window has a new ownership group I wouldn't hesitate if you liked them as they've always seemed to do quality work. If the other place is that hard to get ahold of when your trying to give them $ how do you think it'll be when they already have it

+1, either Okna option is a steal at those prices. Easy choice
