Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with Sprouse vinyl windows.
I'm looking at full replacement, double hung windows for a brick exterior home.
Thanks!

Also, I've been told that you can't use full replacement windows to replace windows in an existing (25 year old) home. Correct?

Incorrect. You can do a full tear out in any home.
Whether or not it is necessary or advisable depends on the home and application.
Do you the CPD or test report on the window?

"Do you the CPD or test report on the window?"
No, I'm not familiar with that. I'm assuming that's something they should provide if requested?
A little less than 1/2" of the 2x4 frame is showing past the brick on each side. I was thinking I'd have to add a 2x4 on each side to have something to attach the nail fins. Slightly smaller opening.
I'm now looking at Simonton vinyl windows.

What factors should I consider?
The side window jambs (towards the bottom) on several windows will needs repair/replacement.
One window needs the bottom 2x4 of the window frame opening replaced. Those are both repairs I can do.

They should have that information handy to give to you.
Tough to say what is applicable in your situation but full tear out is a fine way to go and mostly advisable if you can use a nailing flange.

Think I'll move this to the Ask Your Windows Questions board.
