Poor construction. all windows failed and had them replaced and then Gorrell went into receivership. Windows failed again and now there is no warranty or recourse. rated F, but everyone else got paid. need them repaired? or replaced now. very disappointing

we purchased these windows in feb of 2009. Everything was great until some of the windows started having problems. We found out that gorell had since gone out of business and we would no longer have a warranty. Fortunately,our contractor was still in business and able to help us and get replacement parts for a very reasonable price. We have other neighbors who purchased from other contractors and they were not so lucky!

All our windows were replaced with Gorrell double-pane windows. Half of them failed with 3 years. The ones at the front of the house look like they have permanent frost on them. I didn't mind the look so much in our Minnesota winter, but now that it's spring, they definitely look weird.

Spent a lot of money a couple of years ago replacing all of our windows with what we thought were good quality windows. Had one replaced last year due to cracking and called my local window company who we had bought these from about another one that had a broken seal. Was told they went bellyup, were bought out and not honoring warranties so I have to go through the window process again - while I am STILL paying on these! Would absolutely not buy Gorell again as I see yet another one whose seal is broken. They took my money in good faith and didn't live up to their end or even try to.

I purchased 15 new windows in 2009. 7 of the 15 have failed. I contacted Dura Lite regarding warranty. While the customer service rep was very helpful, basically I was advised they did not purchase any warranty. I strongly suggest you DO NOT BUY any Gorrell products.

Terrible windows. We paid 600 per windows and they lost the Krypton gas
