Just know what you're getting into with your warranty. I have Pinnacle Series windows on my house. They were installed in October of 2005. In 2012 to 2014 I noticed that the paint on the outside was chipping off. I checked into the warranty and saw that it was a 10 year on the paint. I contacted Windsor on October 2015, (10 years from instillation) with pictures of the windows. (Only 3 out of 12 total windows were affected) They informed me that the 10 years started from the manufacture date, not the instillation date. The manufacture date was February of 2005. So the windows sat in the warehouse for 8 months using up the warranty. They told me I was out of luck. Live and learn but I will not use them in the next house I build.

I purchased Pinnacle clad hinged doors and casements in 2012. The windows have been through some harsh winters and have performed very well. They still look great and seem to be much more efficient than our old windows.

I have had Windsor Pinnacle wood/clad windows in my home for two years now. They are performing much better than my Marvin's! The Windsor's do not get condensation on them like my Marvin's do. I am very pleased with Windsor.

Last year, I had two Windsor Pinnacle double-hung windows and one Win-Pac wood/clad double-hung sash replacement installed in my home. We had a very tough winter and the windows performed outstandingly. I have another brand installed elsewhere in my home (a major brand name), and although the other brand produced condensation on several of the panes on cold winter days, the Windsor windows did not. I was VERY impressed. I also like the multi-point latching system as compared to just a single point latch and the finger pull groove in the bottom of the sash to make it easier to open the windows. I have found my Windsor windows to be attractive, well built and energy efficient.

Low quality window. Wrong balances were installed at factory (replaced by dealer). Missing weather stripping (fixed by dealer). Bought stain grade wood interior that after much sanding was unable to remove all the silicone caulking left from sloppy assembly at factory. If I had not had the house sided, I would want the dealer to replace the window with another brand.

Windows have several issues: weather stripping falls off, sliding windows don't stay up unless you concentrate on getting the "catch" mechanism in the right place, the screens are cheap and rip at the frame. Otherwise, they seem to be good for heat & cooling maintenance. And, the company seems to have a good warranty and is willing to send a repairman. Just wish I didn't have to constantly call them.

Good builder who cares about quality work. Too bad they picked this window company.

We purchased a new home and the builder put Windsor Windows in the house. We've had nothing but problems with them. In the winter condensation and ice builds up on the inside of the windows and causes black mold. We have to bleach the windows twice a year due to the mold. Even though we've primed, painted and re-caulked multiple times, the windows are rotting from the outside in. Thirteen years after purchasing our new home, we are faced with the expense of replacing all of our windows.

The builder was fully aware the Windsor Windows they installed in our development were sub-standard. The builder was actually involved in a law suit against Windsor Windows and won. However, the folks they suckered into buying their homes never saw any compensation.

I recently purchased a 7 year old home with around 30 Windsor Pinnacle clad DH windows, the windows were used sparingly by the previous owners as they never even installed the screens and must have lived with the A/C and or heat on year round. Since moving in I've installed the screens and have found many issues with the windows, 6 of them have issues with staying open including 2 that plummet once unlocked. Almost half of them have the top weather stripping valence falling off for no apparent good reason other then they are poorly built. I would not recomend these windows at all.

We love our new windows! They are beautiful to look at besides how much warmer the rooms feel. They operate easily, have the fold down handles so they don't interfere with my blinds and all in all upgraded the look at value of my home.

We are very disatisfied with our Windsor windows. We live in Minnesota and have had ice build up on the inside of the windows. It is not too humid in our home. The ice causes mold on the bottom track of the window. More importantly, we have had 3 inside window panes break. They exploded with glass flying into our home. The outside panel was fine. This is a dangerous problem with children or anyone near a window!
