Do you know if one is better than the other? Or am I comparing Apples and oranges? Basically,I'm looking at Simonton Impressions 7500 vs. Alside Sheffield. Thanks!

Tony,
I would suggest using the search feature and reading some of the MANY posts about SuperSpacer and Intercept.
You will find some very definite opinions on both of these products.

Spend some time looking at the Simonton Web site.
They offer the SuperSpacer on many of their windows.

The Impressions window is built with a superior spacer system, the Super Spacer product made by Edgetech. It is a non-metal structural foam spacer, which imparts not only superior thermal properties, but also outstanding durability. The Alside window is made with Intercept, a steel spacer, which is also known as warm edge, but the thermal properties are not as good as Super Spacer. After all, would you pick up a pot of boiling water if the handle was made of steel?
