I've been comparing windows and want to select Anlin windows for their low .27 shgc rating, but a rep told me that they are cheap windows that will yellow due to PVC added to vinyl. Is yellowing a factor with most vinyl windows or just a few window manufacturers? Thanks for any input.

I've been dealing with vinyl windows for 20 years now and the only time I have seen a window turn yellow was on the inside surface of windows where there were smokers. I will always be amazed that the salesmen still give inaccurate information of the windows they are selling against.

have your anlin dealer give you their handout addressing how and what goes into their vinyl extrusions (manufacturer is Micron Ind,) You'll be happy that you took the time to read it. i have never seen an Anlin frame discolor. whoever told you that probably does not have access to Anlin products.
