Anyone have input on this comparison? I'm replacing 18 windows plus a slider. Some rank Milgard low on glass thickness, metal spacer and minimal vinyl chambers. Anlin and Polybau look pretty comparable except Anlin has questionable squiggle spacer. What's the impact of this in practical terms. If price is equal, which is better? Should price be equal? What's ballpark $ for this number of windows installed? Any/all feedback appreciated. Big expense - wish to make best choice. THANKS!...Scooter

Milgard or Anlin are excellent choices and should come in around 7 to 8 grand. Now select good installers.

Thanks Anonymous. Heard Milgard is not a good choice due to fewer chambers and metal spacer. What say ye? What do you know about Polybau?

I'm puzzled too since responses are few and slim with respect to informative comparisons, company info etc. I did post on another site but failed to note the name of it, so haven't been back. Can you help? Thanks.

Hello Judith i am a northern california contractor who uses Polybau. You are safe if you go with Polyabu and you are safe if you use Anlin.I think by doing you homework like i can see you have i think you yourself know that these two brands are good. In my opinion Polybau has the edge on Anlin on technology and on extrusion design but at the end the decision is entirely yours. Good luck with your project.

Thank you e-z. I concluded same after my research, but wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something. Also, I grew concerned when it seemed no one had experience with the company. I want to go with a company that's healthy and going to be around for awhile. Do you happen to know if the Polybau single-hung (new name 400 series?) have vent-locks? Haven't found this info on their funky website. Thanks again for your reassurance...Judith

I do not believe they have the sash locks.
