Are there any companies that offer a true Lifetime warrantee (not just the pvc vinyl)?
The windows I mentioned below (Ideal) offer lifetime on the basic pvc frame, 5 years on moving parts, 20 years on insulated glass.
How does this compare to others?

The Spectrum is huge. Window manufacturer's have taken the beating for poor installation for so long. They have retaliated in their warranty. Which I don't blame them one bit. There is nothing more frustrating than a customer who is ignorant and has a bad install. They never see the correct side of the story and just demand a new window. The person who said the "customer is always right" should have been pushed off a cliff long ago. Warranties are so different from product to product it's nuts. I hear Schuco is doing a new one as we speak. It's suppose to be simple and to the point. The best thing to do is compare them apples for apples! I understand the frustration.
