We are just prior to building permits on utilizing ISO metal shipping containers 40 and 20 foot long in multiples of joining about 1400 Sq.Ft. 3 br 2 ba total cost trying for under $55,000.This is creation of single family housing. We are loading them with many advanced items in heating, hot/cold controls, PhotoVoltaic and Therman Panels and we want to use Polymer dispersed liquid crystals windows that go opaque to clear by introduction of electric current. YOur name was given to us by Kent Univ so here we are. Educate us Inform us, How much us. Lead times can we design the windows? Will they be openable. Anything else you can think of. First batch 100, second batch 3000 then we go national third batch 25000.

Holy Moly thats a boat load of windows. Installation should be quite the job. W4U gave you the Switchlite url. Keep in mind though this product is still a little vulnerable. I've seen them work and then go out. I would get a huge warranty including labor to replace or repair. If it goes to hell on you. You want back up in a big way. Have you thought of motorized mini blinds? You can also use these in the same manner. Sit on the couch and point the remote. Open and closed just like that. Research this like you've never done before. If not it could blow up in your face and put a big smack on progress and profit!!!!!! Let us know your outcome.
