Sorry about that last post with no text.
Let me try again. I found someone online willing to sell me enough rolls of Protecto Wrap BT20-XL to seal all of my windows that are now being installed. I'm trying to figure out what to offer. I know there are several installers on this board (Guy and others). What is the best price you guys have run across for this stuff, per roll (the 4" stuff)?
Also, does it only come in 100' rolls?
Thanks-
Steve

Steve, Do you have a Menards locally down there? If so they are selling 50' rolls under $10.00. It's the best price you'll see. We buy it by the pallet load. So we get around 36 cases at a crack. We are somewhere around $20.00 a roll.

Steve, we only use the 9" for new construction as advised by AAMA. We are the only ones using the 9" in town, therefore it has to be special ordered when we need it. If it were my own personnel home I would at least use the 6" as required as a minimum from Jeldwen. Bottom line, if you use the 4" it is better than nothing at all.

Jeff --
Thanks for the advice. I think I'm limited to the 4' on most of our windows, though. Although our house is mostly brick, there is wood siding around the porches, and in the second floor gables / dormers. A good majority (about 75%)of our windows are within these gables and dormers on the second floor, and along the front and back porches on the first floor -- in other words, surrounded by siding. I showed up at our house one day last week, before the windows were delivered, and lo and behold the wood siding was installed. They installed it to within about 3 to 4 inches of the window rought openings (they'll come back and trim the windows out now that they are in). Anyway, now that the windows are installed, it looks like I might have 4" to perhaps 5" between the edge of the siding and the window frames, but no more. Unless I have the builder tear off the siding, I think I'm stuck with the "better than nothing at all" 4 inches.

No Guy --
No Menards, unfortunately. I've heard that they may sell it at Home Depot, so I'll check there on pricing too. By the way, the $20 per roll you mentioned, is that for the 4" rolls? Because if so, I did find a place online (DHC Supply, INC) in California that sells the stuff -- they'll even ship it to you. Anyway, they have 4" wide, 100' long rolls for $11.50, if you buy them by the case (12 rolls per case). They list $18 per roll for the 6" wide rolls, in an 8 roll case, and $29.50 per roll for a 9" wide roll, in a 4 roll case. If the $20 per roll you mentioned was for 4" wide rolls (or even the 6" rolls), you may be able to buy some from this company and save yourself a few bucks.
Jeff -- you also mentioned that you have to special-order the stuff. You may be able to get it at this place.
