All,
This post is intended to let all who may care know that I have decided to enter into an agreement with a local HIC for Simonton windows. I am going with Sinonton's Reflections series, with a few options but not the "top-of-line" Reflections.
I am not looking for, or expecting, comments on my decision. I simply feel that it is the right thing to do to let those of you who were kind enough to try to help me with my decision, know what that decision was.
Thanks to all who attempted to help me.

Congratulations!
I'm sorry for the time you had to spend responding to my rambling post in the other thread! I think our major difference is/was in our approach to making a decision. I probably would have stayed away from the Stanley windows just based on the earlier posts you found about "the cheapest of the cheap".
Many of the "experts" spend a lot of time here answering people's questions (and many times the same questions over and over again over the course of time) and supporting their positions with details and background would not always be practical.
Once I had "lurked" for a while and developed an opinion as to who seemed to really know windows, I wasn't too worried about how well founded or supported their opinions were about which windows they liked and disliked. I corresponded with a couple via email too and then made a decision.
Anyway, I seem to recall that Simonton is a brand that has received positive comments. I also personally know someone who had Simonton windows installed and they are happy with them!
