Reynolds windows question

Posted At: 2004-09-05 00:50:09

I have a few windows with condensation between the panes and one that is actually cracked. I don't want to replace the whole window if I don't have to so I would like to know if it is possible to buy just a replacement pane.

Thank you!

Reynolds is very good about honoring their warranties Vincent, so you need to contact them or your supplier.
Many of their windows come standard with a glass breakage warranty too, so check out your warranty.
If this cracked window has a single crack across the window glass, this would be considered a stress crack and probably covered by your warranty, depending when you bought the windows.
On windows they still make, the actual sash is remade and sent out. You tilt in the sash, take it completly out, and replace it with the new one. It takes less than a minute.
On older windows they no longer manufacture, the glass unit itself will need to be taken out of the sash and replaced with new. This takes 1/2 an hour or longer per sash usually.
Good luck, and I hope this helps.
