Can you guys help us. What is different about a vinyl window install and wood. Frame is 3.25 on vinyl wood 4.
Any tips to help with install of vinyl. I bought reflections 5500 casements. 23 units. Going try to reuse the inside oak trim. We measured the old rotting weather shield wood window(1988) from outside frame to outside frame and ordered the same size vinyl. Tips anyone?

You have already answered your own question. The depth of the frame is the difference. To reuse your old oak pieces you will need to add a filler to make up the difference between the 3 1/4' vinyl and the 4" exisiting. Where there is a will there is a way. I don't know how sucessful you are going to be but good luck!
