I have a Better Built dual pane low E stationary window about 4x5'. I broke the outside pane and now the whole pane needs to be replaced. It is also tempered as it is by a tub. The problem is the glass company wants about $700 to replace the glass. That seems a bit steep! Is there anywhere I can order a replacement panel and do the job myself? Any help on how the frame comes aprt would be helpfull too.

Any local glass provider can get you the glass. You will need to get accurate dimensions first. Width x length x glass thickness (1/2, 3/4, 7/8 for example). Installation can be tricky. You may want to go to the local rental company and get some glass cups to lift and set the window.
