Hello, We have old Anderson roll out windows on one side of our house(maybe 15-20 years old & handles are white in color). The only info. I have on them is some writing on the hinge arm that says "Entry Guard Truth".
The handle on one of the windows that opens and closes the window has broken. Do you have any ideas on how we can get a new one, and if we can make the repair ourselves.
My husband has been able to get the handle part off, but not the rest of the mechanism.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a pretty simple fix if you are handy and will read (men don't like to) instructions. Contact a local representative of Andersen (Yellow Pages) and they should be able to order the correct parts and get the instructions for replacement. If you don't have anyone local, check their website andersenwindows.com for an 800 number.
