Howdy! I'm helping my non-internet savvy sister find window options for her 1920's house in Rochester, NY. Her windows are in very poor condition, and some don't even open [which won't matter in the winter, obviously].
My main question is a quote she received from a company called Vision; the manufacturer is Arcor. Does anyone know anything about these 2 companies?
She also received a quote from Home depot which was twice as much. Does price always equal quality? I'm of the school of 'you get what you pay for'; she's much more frugal than I am.
Thank you in advance for your help!!
Stacie :)

I'm in NJ and we sell Simonton Impressions and we have been very pleased with the window. Pace window & Door in your area makes their own window but also has Simonton Impression.

Thanks Bill!
I forgot to mention that the Vision guy said the wondows had Pilkington Activ self-cleaning glass - what in the world is that? He also said that the Super Spacer Scructural Foam helps to reduce condensation. Is that true?
