Sorry for the double post, but now that I've confirmed it's the 4000, I was really hoping someone could offer an opinion on the quote I recieved:
Shuco Corona 4000
(11) 36"x52" double hung full screen $4100
(3) 78"x42" XOX slider $1500
Installation including capping and 150' stops $3000
Total $8600

If you are saying 11 DH Units and 3 triple sliders with install, I think your dealer made a mistake. From posted Schuco costs, that price is atleast a couple thousand light in your favor. The DH seem to range from $500-$800 ea. and a triple slider from $1,100-$1,500 ea. depending on size, install and dealer.

Your 211 square feet of windows cost out at $40.75 per sq/ft. Previous posts indicate the prices to be in the $60. per sq/ft range. Good luck

Thanks so much for your feeback. I'm going to give it a go.
We're meeting again to go over the quote before I put a deposit on my credit card. I'll get the quote written out in detail listing the Manufacturer, Line, etc. Any advice on what to ask or have written into the quotation?

This company has been great to work with so far. I think they gave me a good price and absolutely none of the high pressure sales pitch. I'll post full details after the install is complete - or if someone in this area is in the process of buying now, please email me.

I'm in Southeast Connecticut and I think this installer covers most of Connecticut.
