My Parents moved into a new home about 5 years ago, We think it has Morgaw Whiteman (alenco) windows. The Patio Sliding glass door lock is not working and we are hoping to find a new lock and not have to replace the door.
Can you please tell me where I would find replacement parts for patio doors. also could you tell me how to tell who made the windows?
Thank you
Chuck

Chuck, depending on the hardware it's only a handful of suppliers who make the product. Truth Hardware and Wright Hardware are two that come to mind. Most companies just buy from them. Lowes and HD carry some parts in house that may match up. If not you can pull your lock body out and try to find a stamping or sticker with a name on it. Good Luck!!

For the glazing industry including window and door parts the standard source of supply is C R Laurence. This an amazing resource for fenestration parts. They are huge with several branches and I would guess every glass shop in the country has an account with them and can help you. Give it a try.
