I am looking for a respectable window contractor in South East (Chester County) Pennsylvania. I'm going to settlement on 10/29, and 11 of my sashes need to be repaired. I have received a credit, so my wife and I are considering having all the windows replaced. I am unsure of the manufacturer of the existing 13 y/o builder grade windows. Can someone recommend a window person/company that would be willing to (1) come to the home and assist me in ascertaining the manufacturer of the current windows, OR(2)work with me to replace the windows in my home? This web site recommended Appleby windows, but they seem expensive as hell, and I'm not sure that top of the line is right for my home. However, I don't want to chat with anyone that needs a buck to put gas in their work truck. I'm looking for some honest help and I don't trust Home Depot. Thanks.....
