Just saw this at Home Depot.
Often do not use Silicone because it is not
paintable. Have not tried this yet.
But I will.

I've just tried it. It is paintable as stated although it's only been about a week so no idea how long it lasts.
It seems like a latex caulk during application and cleanup.
