In checking my new Schuco windows after install, the small sticky label on the inside of each window says "Corona 3000/4000". I agreed to and paid for 4000's, so wondering if I'm getting a lesser window?
Does anyone know if this is how Schuco labels their 4000 windows? Schuco's new web site no longer even mentions models other than the 4000.

I just talked to a Schuco dealer today. He said that there are only 2 series - 4000 and 2000. Said the 2000s have a frame about an inch smaller and only have double pane. I can't vouch for the accuracy of what he said. And he didn't mention a 3000 series. Hope this helps, and I hope someone else gives a definitive answer about how many series Schuco has and the difference between the two.

Yes, that was helpful. It must mean that 3000/4000 means the same model. Maybe the experts here can confirm.
I saw your later question on triple vs. double pane in Atlanta. Seems to me that double would be fine in the moderate climate zone of Atalanta, unless local noise is an issue. Again, maybe the experts can give their opinion on your situation. I went with triple given the awfully cold winters in Chicago.

The 3000 was a window made for a bunch of companies who are ABC siding dealers. The snap in glazing bead is different than the 4000, but it is basically the same window. All I sell is the 2000 and 4000. The 3000 is no lower in price for me, so there is no reson to sell it.
