Guy Sounds like the sashes are to small for the frames. Possibly 1/4" which is a factory tollerance for many manufacturers. Bash the installer if you all must but if the window is square and plumb the the window is to blame. Reorder the sash per Id # and see what happens. do not add or subtract...

Sealant and caulk are the same thing. They should be using Novaflex or Boss silicon at this time of year it will seal and dry at any temp. and is some of the best on the market. DO NOT DO IT. Its horrible and also affects the operation of the window.

Guy and other installers

I am looking for other ways to cap half round, quarter round and eliptical windows. How do others deal with these animals. I have my own methods but I am entertaining suggestions from others. Exterior solutions only needed interior is easy.

I agree the installers should never remove the labels until you check the labels. Just the other day one of my guys put the garage window in the living room. Both the same size but one had no low e.
