Replacement Windows Discussion Board Forum

Have you looked at Okna's wood look vinyl? Maybe that doesn't fit the aesthetics of your home but I think that's what we are going with to match our wood trim. We also thought the Sunrise wood look options were good, Okna just had a better match.

Beyond cosmetics, are there any advantages or disadvantages to having cottage style double hung windows (larger lower sash)?

I'm just a consumer who has found this site incredibly helpful as of late, but based on past recommendations from some of the pros, I'm guessing they'll recommend finding bids for Okna, Sunrise, or Softlite if they offer windows in your area.

I haven't kicked up any dust yet on the state of Sunrise. Can you help inform me what is happening with them to cause concern?

Thanks everyone. The Okna guy came out to show us an Okna 600 today and dropped the price to $15,100. So that's close enough to be considered with the Restorations.
