We thought we'd come to a decision and were leaning towards the Milgard when the salesman informed us that they were NOT filled with Argon. He felt like the Argon was a waste of money since it "disipates over time". Is this true and if it disipates doesn't that mean that the window isn't s...

Is Argon a waste of money? Does is disipate over time?

I was told by the Milgard salesman that the Argon was a option in their windows and not included in the quoted price. He said he felt like it was a waste of money since it disapates over the years. Is this true? Is argon worth the extra money to have in the window? HELP!! I'm confused yet again just...

How do I find out about the type of spacer?

Can I call the installer to find out about the spacer type (swiggle seal mentioned) also do the Milgard have gas in between the glass panels?

We are trying to decide between Milgard classic series or Certainteed Insulate series. The Milgard literature does not mention wherther or not there is gas in between the panes to aid in insulation. We know that the Cetainteed has it. Both say they are Low E glass so this gas issue is really the las...

We are replacing 21 windows in our 1940's home. We live in Portland, OR. We have two quotes which are only $400 dollars apart so we are down to which is the better window. First bid (more expensive by a fraction) ar Migard Classic Series with low e glass. Nowhere in the literature is it mentioned if...
