I find it intersting that Anderson has to buy companies. When they bought Eagle I said they had to buy a company inorder to make a good window. Now we will see how long before they cheapen Eagle pretty good quality to bring it down to the Anderson so so level.

I also live in MN home to both Anderson & Marvin. Comparing the two I would sugest you look at Eagle made in Iowa. They are head and shoulders above the other two in all aspects.

Take a look at Eagle. thry have done some marvelous jobs and their quality is superior to almost all on the market and at fair prices

other window companies you may wish to consider are Simonton impression and also Sunrise . both with great product,detail if the simoton 9800 series and warantee along with fair prices

Your window width is very small to put a slider in. You should consider a casement window instead of the doubl hung if you want a change. As for cost in the higharche of cost, Sliders are the least expensive, then doubl hung and then the most costly is the casement. Hope that helps you!
