Because the previous guy said it would fit and this guy says it will not, both for Soft Lite. Just like my glass breakage post. I got different answers to the same question from 2 different people that came for a quote.

Is there a lot of work involved to switch from 2 side by side double hungs to a slider? There is a piece of wood in between the windows that sticks out between the windows about an inch and is 2 1/4 wide

Is a pro ok for that size or should I move up?

The width is just under 63 inches wide x a little over 52 1/2 height. I measured from edge to edge of the actual window frame.
