That price is solid for sure. The product is always recommended here. You’re moving in the correct direction, the price is solid as mentioned . You can get more quotes but you got a good one on a great product.

Re: Norandex 3000 v Wincore 5400 v Midway EnviroSealed
The Norandex 3000 is an Atrium window that is also under the Ply-Gem family that is owned by a private equity firm. It is an entry level window and the lowest quality window in the Norandex line. I agree with Homesealed, Todd out all 3 and look for a better product.

Re: Is there room for negotiation with replacement windows?
It is hard to compare the two prices with out having the full details , the 50k price could be a better deal.
Negotiations will depend on the dealer and you.

Re: OKNA 800 ENVIRO STAR VS SUNRISE RESTORATION
You’d have to be really in love with Sunrise to take it over the Okna at that price. Homesealed is a top notch and that 4.9 rating is no accident . The contingency is BS and not a good way to conduct business IMO. Okna is leader in performance numbers and Homesealed has a history more than the 16 ye...

No sales pressure and a salesperson that can walk you through the install process is a great sales tactic IMO.

Re: Request pro advice on sliding patio door
Homesealed Has got it right . Triple pane is a no brainer at the same cost and you are in area that can still reap the benefits of it.

Re: Request pro advice on sliding patio door
It would be silly not to do triple pane on the largest pieces of glass when you are doing it on the windows, the door will operate nicely. The visual transmittance can be subjective since some people can really pick up on it. A difference of 10% is not that noticeable. Ask the for the VT numbers on ...

Re: Estimated Replacement Cost for Andersen Renewal Window, 2023?
You are basically asking how to get ripped off fairly. It’s gotta be an honest sale persons dream to come in after A Renewal sales person. To get the best price I would schedule a Window World sales person at the same time , take the 2 quotes and divide by 2. In all honesty I would skip them altoget...

Re: Pricing by zip code?
If a business knows window prices are more in a certain area and they charge more is just smart business. Unethical is making false claims. I deal with a ride range of customers and what I charge is my business. If I give a great price to a struggling family and charge another family in 1 millon+ ho...

Re: Can a vynal window be as good as a composite window?
Since you are only replacing a few windows I would want something that matches the others unless you plan on gradually replacing all. Since this a forever home you want continuity with your windows. If you see replacing the rest of the windows you may want to go with vinyl . I think there is more to...

Re: Sunrise Warranty- any good?
Kind of like buying a car, you are not typically gonna call up GM and get your service/warranty issues taken care of. I sometimes get request from my manufacturer to ship things to me for customers to pick up when the dealers are no longer is business. Sunrise is reputable manufacturer and I think t...

Re: replacement casement window options?
Batt insulation was borderline acceptable 15 years ago, gotta question anyone not using foam at this point. It is cheaper, faster and superior. You can by a spray foam gun for $20, and a can of foam for $15. A can of foam will do 20 windows or so and the guns last a time. The tech is pretty old now,...

Re: MN Vinyl (Softlite Elements/Imperial, Sunrise)
My guess is they show the double hung air numbers because it Will show the largest difference. Typically casements have a lower air number and a smaller difference while sliders will have a much larger number. I would compare slider to slider air numbers if you are concerned about air infiltration.
