what kind of u-factor do they get on a double pane?
i see their AI is very good. must be very well built. intersetining company.

if you live in Mass, why are you going with lowE 366? the SHGC is too low for your region as you need some solar heat gain in harsh winter months. inquire about "SUPER SOLAR GLASS",i think thats the more appropriate lowE for your area.

Re: Quantum 2 Windows
you are not just paying for a quality window but a quality install with a quality company. trying to "haggle" could sometimes be a mistake. you are talking about haggling over $2,000,a haggle is a few hundred. you have no idea what this company's overhead may be;insurance ect... as some ot...

quantuum is a well built window with good performance numers. i cannot think of a reason not to recommend it. personally i prefer soft coat lowE opposed to hea mirror but i think its a solid window and the price seems within reason.

the new patio door is out..the wood grain option should be available shortly.
you were quoted prices that are usually reserved for royalty. i could never offer a window at those prices. good window and good pricing though.

Re: Are all numbers the same? Major Vinyl Window Confusion.
no,not just the numbers. the way the windows are engineered can vary greatly from one window to the next.thats why numbers are a good starting point but you need to look under the hood. i would expand my search and i would start by asking the sunrise dealer if he can get the Verde..i would also look...
