Top quality casement windows should last your lifetime.
One of the issues should be resolved by now which is settlement of the house, casements are affected more severly by settlement, that should be done on your house .
You also need a master installer to measure and set them correctly.

It sounds like you are looking at the glazing bead which is not welded. The sash and frame would be.

Lots of window installers do reglazing. The post leaves out almost all details, besides a width and height. Why replace it/the end goal? Is it flat? A bow? Pent roof or wrap to soffit? I have often found that the problem is migrating surface water.
A simply fix that I have used on sevaral occasions is to caulk the window well to the wall, use Quad or similar.
