Actually it is. Fiberglass is woven cloth saturated with epoxy. The cloth plays a role similar to that of rebar in concrete. In twenty five years and thousands of vinyl windows, I've had to replace two because of warpage. I find it peculiar that it is not in would not be in written in the warranty. Real fiberglass? I have read posts where people have claimed that some of there vinyl windows warped which were still under warranty but was not covered because warping was considered natural weathering. So if warping in not a problem with a particular vinyl window, then it should not be a problem to have it written...

Take a look at the Renewal by Andersen windows, they have a thin frame, don't need reinforcing and never need to be painted.

Before I made my choice on what window to get, I read as much as I could on the Internet about other peoples experiences with various windows. I have found posts where a warped vinyl was not cover by the warranty because it was considered natural weathering. Well, I don't know if this is true or not...
