Re: Vytex vs. Alside 8'x6' Sliding Patio Door
I have been comparing 8' patio doors for my living room. Both of these patio doors were presented to me - but I do not know which is a better product overall? An Alside Excalibur or a Vytex 6100? I have received comprabe price quotes for both offering Excalibur: Argon gas; Lifetime warantee on the ...

They are local, in fact the main plant is only about 15 miles from me. Getting parts or service shouldn't a problem! In this fairly mild climate would it pay to get the super spacer, low E goes without saying. I'm going to pass on the argon, not really worth it as I understand it leaks out in less ...

Oberon is wealth of information and I learned a ton from reading his posts in the past. Here is a little blurb on what I hijacked from the web. Sound Control Principles What is Sound? Sound, which is defined as any thing the ear can hear, originates from something making vibrations. These vibrations...

Re: cold weather installation

You guys all talk out of both sides of your mouth. On one side Schuco is a premium vinyl window and on the other side it is a scam company that lies and will not support their product. What I was trying to say is that I believe I am better off buying the Schuco windows that *MAY* possible need some...

The fine is up to $10,000 per occurance if we don't. A homeowner can burn a contractor if they don't like em and we have been thinking we should ha...

Why doesn't everybody in here actually take a few seconds before firing off more posts and understand that this is the impression that we leave with the customers. Window4U and Fenex are two very well respected posters and previous Schuco proponents. It also appears that both have very different imp...
