Ive never really noticed a difference, as long as all the windows will have them you wouldnt notice if there was a slight difference. If you are really concerned about it go up to the nearest Harvey warehouse, or showroom and have them show you a sample.

I would have them take it off and maybe be refunded if you payed extra for that. And then either seal it and paint it, or hire someone who specializes in trim wrap that can handle that. Your still gonna end up with multiple pieces but someone whos good should be able to make it look pretty nice.

If its a cosmetic thing and your worried about you could bend coil stock to cover the edges or apply some pvc trim around the window. Or you could cut out the old window and use a new window although that would be more costly.

I think you've got me confused with true_blue, he was just quoting me. Im just a young guy starting out in the business. However tru does raise a good point that something as simple as window treatments can be such a big deal.

I actually considered getting a smaller fin window and doing it like you said, however, Harvey told me i would have issues because the window wouldnt be properly flashed. They wanted the siding cut back far enough to flash all around the window. I would imagine applying geocel to the back of the nai...
